MPZ’s “CJ and PEANUT” for MTV

 

MTV came to me and decided they wanted hosts for the On Demand channel instead of just a menu. The hosts would have story lines and give navigational directives to the viewer through bits and gags. It was the exec’s hope that eventually the characters would be branded into a show of their own as a part of the network.

MPZ as “Scootz” in “The Moodsters”

 

This was one of those shows I really wanted to get picked up. I played “Scootz” the green Moodster.

 

The best part was working for two huge power houses in children’s television, director LISA SIMON and Executive Producer LOUISE GIKOW. The cast included the lovely, Jennifer Barnhart (Avenue Q) and the lovelier, Tim Lagasse (Johnny and the Sprites).
