There was a time when I was frustrated, tired, ready to throw it all away and have a quiet hum-drum life, when I got a call from POST HILL PUBLISHING:

 

EDITOR: “We heard you were quitting entertainment and we’d like you to write a book.”

 

ME: “If you think my career, sky-rocketing to the middle, is going to sell books, I think you’re mistaken.”

 

EDITOR: “You juggle five different careers in show business along side some of the biggest names and no one knows who you are. Write the book. We’ll handle the rest.””

 

… So I did. 

… Nice critic and industry reviews, as well as being used as part of a syllabus at the University of Chicago of all things.

 

… Then I didn’t quit. So we added an epilogue when it went into re-print explaining myself!  Now a few years have passed.  I’m told I need a blog to share about T-Pain, The Golden Globes, Spike Lee, 21 Savage, Studio 54 ….
